Alvin Foo

Alvin Foo is a business and technology leader with over25 years of experienceacross the Asia Pacific region. He has held senior leadership roles in major global organisations, includingNokia,Omnicom,Interpublic Group, andGoogle. Alvin is a co-founder ofDAOventures, a smart multi-chain asset manager offering a range of automated DeFi investment strategies. He also co-foundedNASDEX, a regulated semi-decentralised exchange that enables trading in tokenised real-world assets, and Metafyed, a Web 3.0 investment bank focused on real-world asset tokenisation.

Alvin currently serves as a Venture Partner atZero2Launch, a company specialising in launching startups in the crypto space. He is also a Co-Founder at ThirdFi, a DeFi infrastructure platform that provides an all-in-one API for developers and fintech companies. He mentors startups through his roles at the German Accelerator,SparkLabs, and Orbit Startups. His contributions to the startup ecosystem also include being a board member ofI-COM Global, an organisation focused on marketing data and technology.

Alvin’s previous roles include serving as Managing Director atReprise Digitaland Head of Mobility & Innovation atOmnicom Media Group, China. He was also Head of Mobile for Greater China at Google, where he led mobile advertising sales and business development. Earlier in his career, he held positions at Velti, Nokia, Madhouse, and Swift Advertising.

Alvin Foo is also an advisor to various organisations, including NOIZ and Proventeus Capital. He is a Managing Partner at Chain Valley Capital, which supports early-stage blockchain and Web 3.0 projects. Alvin holds an LLB in Laws fromBrunel University Londonand a high school certificate from St John’s Institution. He is actively involved in mentoring and supporting innovative startups globally.
