Roger Ver

Roger Veris a serial entrepreneur, an early investor in Bitcoin, and Bitcoin-related startups. He is sometimes referred to as "Bitcoin Jesus".

He studied Physics at Stanford University, and Astronomy, Economics, and Math at Deanza College, Cupertino California.

His company, Memorydealers, became the first established business in the world to startaccepting Bitcoin for payments. Roger was among the pioneers investing in Bitcoin startups. He, nearly single-handedly, funded the entire first generation of Bitcoin and Blockchain businesses including Bitcoin.com, Blockchain.com, Bitpay.com, Kraken.com, purse.io, and many many more. Those businesses have gone on toraise hundreds of millionsof additional funding, and serve tens of millions of customers around the world.

He has been featured in CNN, FOX, RT, Al Jazeera, Wired, Forbes, Salon, Wall Street Journal, and New York Times. Has been the subject of numerous books and documentaries, including The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin (2014), The Bitcoin Gospel (2015), Bitcoin, The End of Money as We Know It (2015), Digital Gold (2016), and Magic Money (2017).

Roger has also been recognised in Fortune 40 Under 40. He is also the Brazilian Jijitsu Brown Belt. He is also a philanthropic, donating large sums to various organisations and funds.
