Merit Valdsalu

Merit Valdsalu has built an impressive career in the tech industry since 2010. Starting as a student advisor and tech writer, they quickly rose to become Head of Localization at Pipedrive, where they implemented an efficient and scalable localization process. After managing the Open Access project at the University of Tartu Library, Merit co-founded StandByMate and Kardemon Digital Marketing, where they honed their skills in project management, team leadership, and entrepreneurship. In 2019, they founded Single.Earth, a startup with a platform for sustainable land-use projects, and currently serve as its CEO. Merit's academic background in English Language and Literature from the University of Tartu has provided them with strong critical thinking, research, and communication skills that they have successfully applied throughout their career.
