Parth Detroja

Parth Detrojais a Product Manager at Facebook, where he currently leads the company’s music video efforts. He is a graduate of Cornell University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics and Management as a Merrill Presidential Scholar, which is awarded to the top 1% of the senior class. He is also a Summa cum laude graduate and received the Academic Excellence Award for Applied Economics and Management. Parth is a bestselling author of two books, Swipe to Unlock (2017) and Bubble or Revolution? (2019).

Prior to his currentrole at Facebook, Parth worked at Microsoft,where he laid the groundwork for Xbox’s acquisition of PlayFab, a cloud gaming start-up. He is also known for his secret interview technique that helped him land job offers from Google, Amazon, and Microsoft, as reported by Inc. and Business Insider.

Parth has been invited as aspeaker at various conferences,including the Grace Hopper Conference, and has been featured in numerous press articles from publications such as Forbes, Business Insider, The Wall Street Journal, and The Times of India, among others.

In addition to his work in tech, Parth has also written two books. His first book, Swipe to Unlock, provides a primer on technology and business strategy, and his second book,Bubble or Revolution?,explores the present and future of blockchain and cryptocurrencies.
