Tibet Kara-Drabble

Tibet Kara-Drabble is a highly accomplished professional with a wealth of experience in international trade, business development, and leadership. Currently serving as theSecretary General of the British Chamber of Commerce in Turkey, Tibet has been actively involved in promoting and strengthening business ties between Turkey and the international community. In this role, she has been instrumental in facilitating trade and investment opportunities, fostering collaborations, and advocating for the interests of the chamber's members.

Tibet Kara was the Country Director for Turkey at the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade), leadingmarket development initiatives in Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Georgia. She significantly contributed to strengthening trade relationships and attracting foreign investment to the region. Tibet also served as the Senior Business Development Manager at the Australian Trade Commission, driving business growth and fostering international partnerships.

Tibet also founded theTurkish chapterof Children's Museum Association, a global non-profit organization aimed at promoting education and cultural development among children worldwide.

Tibet's professional journey also includes roles as an Associate Consultant at AT Kearney, a leading global management consulting firm, and as a Marketing Manager at Nordisk Park Tekstil.

Tibet holds a Post Grad degree in Management Studies from Derby University and a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from Istanbul Technical University.
