Auronda Scalera
Auronda Scalera is a prominent figure in the world of contemporary art and WEB3. With 20 years of experience, she has established herself as an art curator, consultant, speaker, entrepreneur, and global ambassador of art and culture. Auronda is based between London, Dubai, and the Metaverse, where she actively shapes the art landscape.
Her expertise has gained recognition through various avenues.Auronda was interviewed by Sky TV/CNBCalongside notable individuals such as Refik Anadol and Oxford and Berkeley professors to discuss the intersection of AI, art, and museums. She was also invited to the UK Parliament, House of Lords, by the Chairs and Officers of the APPG on the Metaverse and Web 3.0, where she provided expert witness testimony on arts and culture.
Auronda is passionate about using her influential voice and deep knowledge to make a positive impact on the art and culture scene. She advocates for inclusivity, diversity, equity, and new technologies. Her efforts have been acknowledged by the NYC Journal, which recognized her asone of the Top 20 inspiring women in 2023. She participated as a discussant at theWorld Economic Forum, discussing Web3 and the Metaverse for the 100woman x Davos event.
In 2022, Auronda took on the role of Director at the Infinity Art Museum, the first-ever evolving museum of contemporary art in the metaverse. She has also been appointed as the curator of the Decentral Art Pavilion for the upcoming Venice Art Biennale in 2024.
Asa co-founder of XXNFT, a curatorial and publishing platform focused on diversity and technology, Auronda empowers underrepresented artists. She actively contributes to the art world through her writings, including a special monograph about Ellen Sheidlin published by The NFT Magazine and Rizzoli International.
Recognizing her expertise, +TATE nominated Auronda to organize symposiums on NFTs and museums. She frequently participates in discussions on art, Web3, and the Metaverse at prominent events such as NFT NY & LDN, City A.M., Sotheby's, Dcentral Miami, Rendr Belfast, BuolevArt Festival Dubai, 100Women x Davos during the WEF, and House of Beautiful Business Lisbon.

Working as a curatorial duo with Alfredo Cramerotti, Director of Mostyn Museum in the UK, IKT President, and Chair of the Digital Strategies Committee of AICA, Auronda explores the convergence of arts and advanced technologies. Together, they push boundaries and pave the way for innovative artistic experiences.
