Anders Indset
Anders Indset is a Norwegian philosopher, bestselling author, and deep-tech investor with over 20 years of experience intechnology, business, and leadership. He has written five Spiegel bestsellers, translated into over ten languages, includingThe Quantum Economy(2020),Wild Knowledge(2017),Das Infizierte Denken(2021), andPhilosophy@Work(2022). His latest book,The Viking Code – The Art and Science of Norwegian Success(2024), explores lessons in business, politics, and education. His upcoming book,The Singularity Paradox – Bridging Humanity and AI, co-authored with Florian Neukart, is set for release in March 2025.
Anders is the Founder and CEO of Njordis Group, a venture capital and advisory firm established in 2022, supporting deep-tech companies in scaling and connecting with key stakeholders. He also leads TheQuantumEconomy Institute (TQEI), established in 2023, and has initiated projects such as the Quantum Economy Alliance. He is a founding partner at the Global Institute of Leadership and Technology (GILT), offering educational programmes to advance leadership in the modern world.
Additionally, Anders serves as Senior Advisor and Investor at Terra Quantum AG, a pioneer in quantum technologies, and as a Board Member and Investor at theGlobal Blockchain Initiative(GBI), a non-profit supportingblockchaininnovation. He is an Advisory Board Member at Enkelfähig, promoting sustainable business models, and supports startups through the German Tech Entrepreneurship Center (GTEC).
As a public speaker, Anders has delivered talks in over 60 countries. His “Thinking Out Loud” series attracts business leaders andinnovators, providing actionable insights on leadership and future technologies. His monthly column appears inHandelsblatt. In 2022, he co-authored a study on Nick Bostrom’s simulation hypothesis, published inPhilpapers.
Anders has been recognised by Thinkers50 for his innovative ideas and thought leadership. He was nominated for the Breakthrough Idea Award in 2019 forThe Quantum Economyand named “Thinker of the Month” in July and August 2018. A former professional handball player who represented Norway’s national team, Anders has also studied German philosophy and remains a prominent voice in modern thought and innovation.
