Samhita Bhatkar is a creative entrepreneur, graphic designer, and the Director of Multiversity, with over two decades of experience indesign and branding.
Samhita Bhatkar is the daughter ofDr Vijay Bhatkar, a renowned scientist and innovator, and she carries forward his legacy of creativity and excellence in her work.
She is the Founder and Partner of Multia, a leading design agency established in 2012. Multia specialises in creating branding strategies and visual identities and has collaborated with over 350 global brands, including Tata, Radix, Chargebee, WWF,Shopify, Mahindra,McDonald’s, andVolkswagen. Recognised for its impactful work, Multia was ranked among the 'Top 5 Digital Agencies in India' in 2020 and 'Top 5 Branding Agencies in India' in 2021.
Samhita also co-founded muup in 2021, contributing as an Executive Creative Director. Since 2021, she has been a jury member atAwwwards, evaluating and recognising excellence in digital design. Additionally, she serves as a Partner in Communication Strategy Practice at 108 Global and collaborates withNuverseto focus on health design innovations.
As the Director ofMultiversity, a position she has held since 2001, Samhita has been instrumental in driving innovative projects and nurturing creative talent. Her professional skills encompass branding, graphic design, digital experiences, web design, and visual communication. She is dedicated to fostering creativity in the next generation of designers.
Samhita’s achievements include several prestigious awards, such as the Gold Brandon Hall Award (2021), recognition as a top naming agency by Clutch (2022), and accolades from Manifest for branding excellence (2021).
She holds an academic background in science from Fergusson College and St. Helena's School. With a multidisciplinary interest in art, culture, architecture, and history, she combines creativity with strategic thinking to deliver impactful and scalable design solutions.
