Dr. Annette Doms is a Tech Evangelist, entrepreneur, Future Business Expert, In-Company Trainer, Web3 Expert, academic, and Public Speaker, digital transformation strategist. She is the CEO and Director of Future Business atICAA Strategists GmbH, a consulting firm that helps businesses transform using technologies like Web3, AI, and Blockchain. In this role, Annette guides innovative future topics in digital change and has contributed to white papers and strategies for companies like Deutsche Telekom,PwC, and Union Investment Bank.
Dr. Annette is also the Vice President of Education and Research at VENTURE AI GERMANY, an organisation with a mission to establish Germany as a global pioneer for a responsible and safe AI transformation. She is a Partner at NFTBEE, where she contributes to the development of blockchain and NFT-based solutions. Her work includes social media app development andblockchainintegration, including wallet connection features.
Dr. Annette co-founded xcircle, an art gallery specialising in blockchain technology. Her work included building an NFT marketplace, wallet integration, and the creation and sales of NFTs across multiple blockchain platforms such as Solana, Ethereum, and Polygon. She also managed educational initiatives on blockchain and Web3 strategies for digital art.
She was also a co-founder and artistic director of UNPAINTED, Germany's first digital art fair, which showcased the relationship between digital art and emerging technologies. The fair featured over 50 exhibitors and included performances, concerts, and panel discussions. Dr. Annette has worked extensively in the fields of AI, Web3, blockchain, and the Metaverse, holding leadership roles as Board Member, including an Expert Board Member at Web3 World Society, a tech-political think tank that aims to create a sustainable and human-centric future in the digital age, and INLUX, advising on Web3 consulting, digital transformation, and teamwork. Dr. Annette was also the Gallery Director at Nusser & Baumgart. Dr. Doms holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Art History from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. Her minor fields of study include Psychology, Archaeology, and Italian Philology. She also studied Italian Philology at Università per Stranieri di Perugia.
