Matt Hawkins
Matt Hawkins is a tech entrepreneur with extensive experience in cloud computing, AI, renewable energy, and blockchain. He is the CEO and Founder of Cudo, a company dedicated to providing access to sustainable cloud infrastructure and renewable energy solutions. Cudo’s platforms aim to make cloud computing more economical, efficient, and sustainable. Under his leadership, Cudo has scaled globally, reaching nearly 1 million users across 145 countries. The company focuses on enabling businesses to monetise their IT infrastructure while supporting sustainability and reducing carbon emissions.
Prior to Cudo, Matt founded C4L, one of the fastest-growing ISPs in the UK. C4L won numerous awards, including the Times Tech Track 100, Deloitte UK Top 50, and Deloitte EMEA Fast 500. The company was responsible for approximately 1% of the UK’s internet infrastructure, providing services to government bodies, FTSE 250 companies, ISPs, resellers, and SMBs. C4L was acquired by CORETX, where Matt continued his leadership role as Chief Technical Officer.
Before his involvement with C4L, Matt also worked as Managing Director at Revenue Makers, a company focused on affiliate marketing, where he helped grow the user base by 1000% in just one year. He went on to become Business Development Director at UK Affiliates.
Matt later became Founder & Managing Director of MiMiC Group, where he focused on developing technology solutions related to network performance, renewable energy, and traditional infrastructure services. The company aimed to improve network deployment times, lower costs, and offer energy solutions using untapped renewable sources.
In addition to his entrepreneurial ventures, Matt is involved in mentoring young entrepreneurs. He has served as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Bournemouth University, helping students maximise their business potential. He is also an advisor at Barclays Eagle Lab.
Matt's work has garnered significant attention, with features in major outlets such as Forbes, BBC, and Moneyweek. His current focus with Cudo is on bridging the gap between cloud computing and blockchain, aiming to democratise access to scalable, sustainable infrastructure. His company is also a key player in the Nvidia AI Cloud Partner network, offering scalable solutions for AI, machine learning, and high-performance computing.
Matt's dedication to sustainability and technology continues to drive his efforts in creating positive impacts globally. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computing in Business from Brunel University London.
