Gaurav Misra

Gaurav Misra is the Co-Founder and CEO ofMirage, a company he founded in February 2021. Before launching Mirage, he co-founded and led Captions, a company focused on creating innovative video editing and content creation tools.

Gaurav was also the Head of Design Engineering at Snap Inc. from 2016 to 2021, where he contributed to product development and design. Prior to Snap, Gaurav worked at Localytics as a Software Engineer and at Microsoft as a Software Development Engineer II. He also held a role at Lattice Engines as a Software Engineer from 2013 to 2014.

He has a strong background in software engineering and product design. His technical expertise is in machine learning, product design, and software engineering. He started his career with Lattice Engines, gaining experience in the early stages of his professional journey. His education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science fromBoston University. Over the years, he has gained significant experience in building and scaling successful products, focusing on leveraging technology to help creators, particularly in the video creation space.
