Kevin Yang
Kevin Yang is the CEO and Co-Founder ofSerif.ai, a company offering solutions for businesses at a price of $20 per month. He co-founded Serif.ai in July 2023 and has been leading the company for over two years. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Serif.ai focuses on providing peace of mind through advanced AI solutions.
Before starting Serif.ai, Kevin co-founded Include.ai in August 2019, a company focused on no-code web automation. Backed by Sequoia Capital, Include.ai was later acquired by Retool in August 2022.
Prior to his entrepreneurial ventures, Kevin gained valuable experience as a Design Engineer atMeta(formerly Facebook), where he worked on the Applied ML team, developing AI to detect and interpret images. He also had an internship as a Full Stack Engineer at HealthTap, focusing on improving patient adherence to medication.
Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science (AI) fromStanford University,graduating in 2019. During his time at Stanford, he was involved in various projects, including LLMParser, an open-source library for extracting structured data from unstructured text, and EmailTriager, an LLM-based application designed to automatically respond to emails. In 2016, he worked on a project, WhyDB, which used natural language processing to assist in improving patient compliance with medication.
Kevin Yang has contributed to several publications, such as the Pearson textbook Exceptional Children: An Introduction to Special Education, where he filmed and edited an introduction video on 3D printing for classrooms. Additionally, he co-authored an article for the National Federation of the Blind about the potential benefits of 3D printing for blind children.
