Andrei Danescu
Andrei Danescu is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Dexory, a London-based technology company focused on artificial intelligence, robotics, digital twins, and real-time data systems for the logistics andsupply chain industry. He has been working in robotics and autonomous systems since 2004 and has built his career around creating advanced technology that connects the physical and digital worlds.
Dexory, formerly known as BotsAndUs, develops a full-stack platform that combines autonomous robots, edge AI, digital twin technology, and structured machine-readable data. The company’s goal is to provide companies with real-time visibility of warehouse operations. Instead of relying on static dashboards and delayed reports, Dexory delivers continuous data that allows physical operations to become observable, measurable, and automatically optimised. The long-term vision of the company is to transform warehouses into self-optimising systems where perception, decision-making, and execution happen continuously through intelligent systems. Dexory aims to embed advanced intelligence directly into physical infrastructure at industrial scale.
Before founding Dexory in January 2015, Andrei held senior engineering roles in high-performance andautomotive environments. From 2014 to 2015, he worked at Jaguar Land Rover as a Senior State Estimation and Control Engineer, where he contributed to state estimation technology, tyre modelling, connected vehicle systems, and perception platforms. Prior to this, he served as a Control Systems Trackside Engineer for the Sahara Force India Formula One Team from 2013 to 2014. His responsibilities included car systems setup, real-time data analysis, diagnostics, and fault investigation during race operations. In 2012, he worked as a Systems and Development Engineer at Lanan Racing, managing systems design, mechanical and electronic integration, bespoke wiring systems, and trackside electronic operations.
Andrei holds an MSc in Motorsport Engineering fromCranfield University, a BEng in Robotic Systems and Control Engineering from Coventry University, and earlier studied Electronics and Communication Systems at the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest. Alongside his professional career, he volunteered with the World Organization of the Scout Movement from 2004 to 2009 as a leader in education.
