Scott Fanning is a cybersecurity and product management executive with over 25 years of experience across networking, cloud security, and enterprise platforms.

Scott is the Executive Vice President of Cybersecurity Solutions at Mastercard, where he focuses on identity, fraud prevention, authentication, and cyber intelligence at global scale.His key focus is to accelerate innovation—both organically and through integration of new platforms and capabilities—to ensure Mastercard continues to set the standard for security at scale.

Previously, Scott has held key leadership roles at major technology companies including Aryaka, Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike, Citrix, McAfee, and Cisco Systems.

Scott’s work has focused on advancing security architectures from traditional VPN-based systems to modern approaches such as SASE and zero-trust models. He has led large-scale product portfolios, driven go-to-market strategies, and contributed to the development of cloud-native security platforms.

Scott also served the Canadian Armed Forces during early days of his career, where he worked in signals intelligence. He also holds multiple patents related to secure networking and authentication technologies.
