Chelsea Slater

Chelsea Slater is committed to promoting diversity and inclusion in the digital and tech industry by empowering young girls to pursue careers in these fields. As Co-Founder and Director of InnovateHer, Slater's vision is to prepare girls for the tech industry and to make the industry more welcoming to them. InnovateHer runs a program for school students aged 13-17, and also consults with tech businesses on how to become more inclusive. Slater has worked with several renowned companies such as Playstation, BAE Systems, Co-op, and Liverpool Football Club, and aims to equip young girls with the skills, confidence, and self-belief they need to pursue a career in tech while making the industry ready to take them on. Her active involvement in Europe's startup ecosystem is evidence of her dedication to her work.
